Creepy-Crawly Chocolate Mice

I am attempting to widen my knowledge of Halloween treats. I saw this and thought it was adorable. These little mice are definitely more cute than creepy, although with all of them staring at you on plate does have a certain creep factor to it. This recipe calls for chocolate cookie crumbs...I used Triple Double Oreos, cream and all. They taste amazing.

Mice (~12):
4 ounces semisweet chocolate
1/3 c. sour cream
1 c. chocolate cookie crumbs

Decorations:
1/3 c. chocolate cookie crumbs
1/3 c. powdered sugar
12 orange tic tacs cut in half
1/4 c. sliced almonds
12 (2 inch) watermelon Pull n Peel Twizzlers

Mice:
1. Put chocolate cookies into a blender or food processor. Demolish cookies to fine crumbs.

2. Cut up semi sweet chocolate and melt.

3. Add sour cream and mix until combined.

4. Stir in 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs. Cover and refrigerate until firm.

5. Roll small portions of the mixture into balls. Mold to a slight point at one end (the nose).
6. Roll dough in powdered sugar (for white mice), and in chocolate cookie crumbs (for dark mice).

7. On each mouse, place tic tacs for eyes, almond slices for ears, and a twizzlers string for the tail.
8. Refrigerate for at least two hours, until firm.
9. Stuff face!
