Kitty Litter Cake

I have been wanting to make this cake for over a year and I finally got the chance to do it! Behold, the kitty litter cake. What was hilarious was people actually refused to eat the cake! Too bad for them. Despite how it looks, it actually tastes really good. If you are looking for a way to gross out your friends, this is definitely the cake to do. On a side note, I was in a hurry making this so I didn't take any pictures during the making process but I think the final photos will make up for it.

1 devils food cake mix
1 white cake mix
1 or 2 large packages of vanilla instant pudding mix, prepared.
1 large package of vanilla sandwich cookies
green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls.

1. Bake the two cake mixes according to package directions. Set aside to cool.
2. Prepare the pudding mix or mixes.
3. Crumble up the sandwich cookies in food processor or blender.
4. Take 1/4 cup of the crumbled cookies and add the green food coloring. Mix the coloring in well.
5. Crumble the cooled cakes into a large bowl. Add half of the remaining cookie crumbs.
6. Mix in the pudding, adding just enough to moisten and hold the cake together. You don't want it to be soggy. (I used roughly 1 1/2 boxes of pudding).
7. Place this mixture in the lined litter pan.
8. Soften Tootsie Rolls in the microwave for about 15 seconds. (It's best to do several at a time).
9. Shape them to...well...you know... and place these rolls in the cake mixture(you can roll them in the cookie crumbs to get a more "realistic" effect).
10. Sprinkle some but not all of the remaining white cookie crumbs over top of it all. Then sprinkle green cookie crumbs on top of the white ones.
11. Place poopy scooper in the cake.
12. Watch your friends reaction and stuff face!

  2. I think this is the coolest cake, but I would be one of the people to refuse to eat it. I think it would be so awesome for April Fools, or for kids.
