How To: Cut and de-seed a Cucumber

In the process of making some guacamole for the Super Bowl, I realized I had never cut up and de-seeded a cucumber before. Since I had to look up how to do it, I figured others could benefit from a post like this. So here we go, how to cut and de-seed a cucumber.

Things you need:
peeler
sharp knife
spoon

1. Using peeler, remove the skin from the cucumber.

2. Cut off the ends.

3. Cut the cucumber in half.

4. (Optional) Lightly score around the seeds with a knife. This makes it a little easier to remove the seeds.

 5. Using a spoon, scoop out the seeds.

6. Use in something delicious and stuff face.
