How To: Prepare Jicama

I love jicama! If you have never heard of it, it is an edible tuberous root with the texture of a raw potato but sweet. It is excellent on salads or just eating it raw by itself too. This is a quick how to on how to cut up jicama.


1. Make sure to give it a nice wash to remove any dirt.
2. Cut in half.


3. Cut those halves again.


4. Peel the skin off of the quarters.

 

 

5. Cut as desired. (I prefer sticks and dipping them in ranch dressing).
6. Stuff face!
