Grilled T-Bone Steak with Parmesan Asparagus

We have been on a grilling kick lately. It has been slightly challenging timing the grilling with the Florida afternoon summer rains, but so far so good.

T-bone steak
sprinkle of salt and pepper

Parmesan Asparagus:
~1 lb. asparagus
3 Tbsp. butter
~1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
sprinkle of salt and pepper

1. Trip excess fat from steaks. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

2. Place on the grill for 5 minutes. Rotate a 1/4 turn and let cook for another 5 minutes.

3. Flip and repeat step 2.

Parmesan Asparagus:
4. Preheat oven to 350F.
5. Cut the bottom 1 to 2 inches off the asparagus (this portion tends to taste bitter).
6. Cut whats left in half.

7. Place asparagus in boiling water and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

8. Drain and place in a baking pan.
9. Sprinkle with parmesan, salt and pepper. Give asparagus a stir to get them nicely coated.

10. Chop butter and spread evenly over asparagus.

11. Bake for 10 minutes.
12. Stuff face!
