Spiked Apple Cider

This is some dangerous stuff. You can not taste the rum what so ever and it knocks you on your butt. It is so tasty, my friends and I drank it too fast. We were singing a happy tune in no time.

1/2 apple
2 tsp. whole cloves
2 quarts of apple cider
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. allspice
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
1 c. dark rum

1. Stud the apple with cloves.

2. In a medium pot, combine studded apple, sugar, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and apple cider.
3. Put over low heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and add rum.
5. Enjoy!
