Slow Cooker: Chicken Soup

It has been awhile since I have done a slow cooker recipe, and chicken soup just sounded good. I really like this recipe. The broth is more like a vegetable soup, the chicken falls apart, and the beans and corn add some nice flavor.

Too intimidated to use my mixer!!!

My KitchenAid mixer now looks like a P-51 Mustang. I am so giddy about this I can hardly contain it. Time to put this enthusiasm towards some serious Lego building.

Grapefruit Buttermilk Muffins

Continuing with my grapefruit obsession, I decided to try this recipe. I think this is a very interesting combination and frankly I have never seen anything like it. These are great in the morning with a little honey. These muffins are like a soft cornbread with a nice citrusy sweetness.

Broiled Grapefruit

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I stayed a cute little bed and breakfast for our anniversary. For breakfast, they made us broiled grapefruit...and right then I was hooked. Now I have a big bag of grapefruit in my pantry and I eat broiled grapefruit for breakfast a few times a weeks. Sooooo yummy!
